The origins of the present building, however, date back to 1466, as the original church fell prey to the Hussites. It received a Renaissance design in 1586, a tower added in 1670 - 73 and its present Baroque appearance in 1764. The four fields of the vaults inside the church bear frescos by J. V. Spitzer from 1766. The main altar features the Baroque style, like most of the equipment. It was erected in 1776 and has a painting of St. Bartolomew by I. Raab. The tower of the church houses three bells, the oldest from 1575 and two new ones from 2000.
