On the ground floor and in the cellar space, we will find an ecological exposition titled Stone and Life, and the permanent "Man and Mountains" exposition in the cloister. The Stone and Life exposition is a modern audiovisual exposition. Visitors perceive sound, light and scenes of two-dimensional and three-dimensional pictures affecting them at the same moment. The music and characteristic sounds of natural elements intensify the guide's commentary. Concurrently with that, individual parts of the exposition premises, display cases, models and exhibits are illuminated, transparent photographs are lit up and slide shows are projected. During the tour, you will for example find yourself in the model of a cave, you will visit an old mining drift and will go through a mountain brook, which is enlivened with plants, fish, birds and other animals. The tour also includes a large-screen slide show about the Krkonoše nature and countryside.

The basic programme lasts 100 minutes, but you may also select a shortened one-hour programme or a shortened programme for children lasting about 30 minutes.
